Donation Given to Farmington Presbyterian Manor

(Farmington, MO) Officials with Farmington Presbyterian Manor are announcing a donation of more than $378,000 to the group by the estate of a former resident’s daughter, who wishes to remain anonymous. A press release from administrators with the manor indicates the family lived in St. Louis, but eventually the parents retired in Farmington. The donor’s father lived at Farmington Presbyterian Manor and died in June 2000. In the fall of 2022, Manor officials learned of the donor’s long time connection to Farmington Presbyterian Manor and her plans to leave a legacy.        Farmington Presbyterian Manor’s gift is designated to the Good Samaritan Fund, which provides funding to assist residents who outlive their financial resources through no fault of their own. Farmington Presbyterian Manor has served St. Francois County since 1962 with independent and assisted living, memory care, long term care, and short term rehabilitation.
