Drought Tough on Livestock Producers

(Farmington, MO) Farmers and local livestock producers are searching areas outside of the state for resources such as hay for cattle and horses to feed on. A Field Livestock Specialist with the University of Missouri Extensions Office in St. Francois County, Kendra Graham, says producers are starting to import poor quality hay because the need is so high and suppliers are low on local product.

Graham was a guest on our monthly University of Missouri Extension Office Report heard on AM 1240, KFMO.
