Drug Take Back Day at Desloge Walmart

(Desloge, MO) Walmart in Desloge is hosting a Drug Take Back Day this weekend.

The event is part of the DEA’s biannual National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. Law enforcement agencies will set up in the parking lot from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 27 to help people safely dispose of unwanted, unused or expired prescription medications.

Unneeded prescription medication are those that are old, unwanted, or no longer needed. These types of medications are a public safety issue, too often becoming a gateway to addiction. Tablets, capsules, patches, and other solid forms of prescription drugs will be collected at the event.
