EMAA and Expanded Homeless Spaces

(Farmington, MO) The Uplift Center of Farmington will be expanding it's homeless shelter space soon. The East Missouri Action Agency is involved since it manages the center. A Program Manager for the agency, Rob Baker, says they'll increase their overnight space by more than double its current amount.

According to Baker this effort is a part of the Big Dream project which will also help refurbish the old Mineral Area Regional Medical Center building.
