ERDCC Inmate Death Announced

(Bonne Terre, Mo) The Eastern Reception, Diagnostic & Correctional Center, in Bonne Terre, is reporting a resident has died.

According to a press release from the center, 57 year old Charles Parker passed away on Saturday, April 20.

Parker was serving a 10 year sentence for second degree elder abuse, 15 year sentence for first degree statutory rape or attempted statutory rape, 15 year sentence for statutory sodomy or attempted statutory sodomy, and a second 15 year sentence for statutory sodomy or attempted statutory sodomy from Scott County.

A cause of death has not been released, however an autopsy will be performed.
