Family Run Farms May See More Taxes

(Washington, DC) Two Democratic sponsored bills in Washington DC would raise the death tax on farmers and ranchers and impose the double death tax. Missouri United States Senator, Roy Blunt, says if the Democrats get these bills to become law, farm families would owe so much to the government they could lose their farm.

Blunt explains the latest research shows if the bills are passed the average tax increase alone would be over $700,000 dollars. Blunt says that's just the increase before the normal taxes are added in.
