Farmington Man Arrested on Drug and Vehicle Tampering Charges

St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A Farmington man, 34-year-old Nicholas A. Momot, is facing multiple charges after being taken into custody Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Momot was arrested at 2:07 p.m. in St. Francois County. He faces charges of first-degree tampering with a motor vehicle and two counts of possession of a controlled substance. Authorities say Momot was found in possession of one gram of methamphetamine and two alprazolam pills.

Following his arrest, Momot was held at the St. Francois County Sheriff's Department with no bond.
