Farmington Man Hurt in Crash

(St. Francois County, MO) A Farmington man, 21 year old Riley J. Whitehead, is suffering serious injuries after a one car wreck in St. Francois County Saturday morning at 6:20. According to reports from the Highway Patrol, Whitehead was driving south on Highway OO, north of Smith Road, when the car slid off the left side of the road, struck an embankment, became airborne, and hit a tree. The impact of the crash threw Whitehead through the windshield. He was not wearing a seat belt during the crash. Whitehead was flown to Mercy Hospital South at St. Louis.
