Farmington Man Injured in Wreck

(St. Francois County, MO) A Farmington man, 74 year old Harold E. Reed, is suffering moderate injuries after a two vehicle crash in St. Francois County Thursday morning. The accident took place at 9:30 in the northbound lanes of Highway 67 just south of the Parkway Drive exit. A report from the Highway Patrol shows a pick up driven north, by 66 year old Vickie S. Baumgartner of Farmington, was struck in the rear by a car driven by Reed that was also northbound. The pick up crashed into the median cable barrier after being struck. Reed, and a passenger in Baumgartner's truck, 83 year old Ella M. Govreau of Farmington who received minor injuries, were taken to Parkland Health Center North at Bonne Terre.
