Farmington Woman Injured in Motorcycle Wreck

(Franklin County, MO) A woman from Farmington., 40 year old Nicole R. Litton is recovering from moderate injuries after a motorcycle wreck in Franklin County Thursday afternoon. According to Highway Patrol reports 56 year old Michael E. Reuter of Imperial, was riding a motorcycle west on Highway 30, at Bethel Church Road, just after 5 o'clock. He lost control of the bike as he approached another westbound motorcycle that was stopped in traffic. Rueter's motorcycle rolled over onto it's right side, started sliding, and crashed into the other bike. Reuter was seriously injured. The other motorcyclist left the scene and remains unidentified. Litton, who was Reuter's passenger, was transported to Mercy Hospital Washington while Reuter was flown to Mercy Hospital St. Louis. Neither of the injured was wearing a safety device when the wreck took place.
