Flea Market Chili Cook Off This Weekend

(Desloge, MO) The big Flea Market Chili Cook Off, being presented by the Desloge VFW, will be held this weekend. A member of the Desloge VFW Auxiliary, Shirley Brinkley, explains The Veteran's Service Officer Program began with efforts through the VFW and this event will raise funds to help continue the program.

Brinkley adds the yard sale will be held both Saturday and Sunday, the 20th and 21st, from 9 am to 4 pm. The chili cook off takes place Sunday at 11 am with judging to begin at 11:30. Winners will be announced at 2 o'clock. The Desloge VFW post is located at 399 West Oak Street. For more information you can call Brinkley at 573-315-0178.
