Fredericktown Man Hit by SUV

(Madison County, MO) A man from Fredericktown, 50 year old Paul R. Shields, is recovering from injuries he sustained after being hit by an SUV in Madison County Wednesday night. According to officials with the Missouri State Patrol, it happened just before 8 o'clock on Business 67, 1 mile north of Cherokee Pass. Shields was walking in the roadway, when he was hit by a vehicle driven by 48 year old Amanda Nanney of Perryville. Miraculously Shields suffered minor injuries. He was taken to Madison Medical Center in Fredericktown. Nanney was not injured.
