Fundraiser Barbecue for Uplift Shelter

(Farmington, MO) A fundraiser barbecue will be held, by the East Missouri Action Agency, to benefit the Uplift Overnight Shelter at Farmington August 12th. A Program Manager with the agency, Rob Baker, says the monies raised will be used to help with the day to day operational costs of the shelter.

Baker adds the barbecue will be held on Uplift Center parking lot behind the old Mineral Area Regional Medical Center off Weber Road. The event runs from 11 am to 2 pm. Pork Steak, hamburger and hot dog plates will be available with baked beans, chips, and a drink. You also get your choice of coleslaw or potato salad. Large group orders can be made until 5pm August 8th and delivery is available for orders of 5 or more.
