(Bonne Terre, MO) Young girls in the area are more informed on space and space travel after a "girl powered" space camp was held Tuesday at the Space Museum and Grissom Center in Bonne Terre. The museum's Earl Mullins says this event, designed to appeal to girls, is one of the first not to have been planned by the Museum.
According to Mullins they anticipate, with the popularity of this event, there will be other events coming soon. Mullins explains they were expecting about 20 to 30 attendees and over 60 showed up.
