Girls Night Out Thursday Evening

(Farmington, MO) The United Way of St. Francois County's Girls Night Out fundraiser is Thursday night at Twin Oaks Winery south of Farmington. The Executive Director of the group, Cassie Thomas, says Girls Night Out is important because it helps with costs of operations and in giving out funds to local service groups.

According to Thomas they have plenty of silent auction items for the evening. Doors open at 5 o'clock and there is a $25 donation at the door. Thomas adds the evening will also benefit Seasons of Hope so they're asking those who will attend to bring a gift card from Wal-Mart to donate as well. Seasons of Hope will provide $75 worth of gift cards to over 900 underprivileged children in the Parkland this year. Twin Oaks Winery is located off Highway F south of Farmington.
