Goose Creek Shooting Update

Update Information 1-12-22 12:35: 

A 19 year old male is in custody in connection to a shooting Tuesday night at Goose Creek. A Press release from Captain Greg Armstrong, with the St. Francois County Sheriff's Department, indicates at 8:24 deputies responded to reports of a shooting in the 6200 block of Osage Drive in the Goose Creek Lake Development in northern St. Francois County. Officers located a 29 year old male, within a separate residence in the development, who had been shot multiple times. The victim was conscious and alert at the time and he was airlifted to a St. Louis hospital for treatment. A 19 year old male was taken into custody and remains in custody in the St. Francois County jail. Both scenes were processed by St. Francois County detectives, who continue to investigate the incident. No names are being released until formal charges have been filed. St. Francois County Sheriff's authorities have confrmed an investigation is ongoing into a shooting that took place Tuesday night in Goose Creek. Few confirmed details are available yet it's alleged one person was shot multiple times.
