Headstart and Elks Deliver Food Baskets

(Desloge, MO) Again this year the Mineral Area Community Elks are giving Christmas food boxes to the families of the East Missouri Action Agency's Headstart Program. One of the organizers with Headstart, Jan Cooley, says they also include extra food items for kids who are home from school on Christmas break.

Roland Seal is with the Mineral Area Elks Lodge and he says by working with the East Missouri Action Agency they can deliver food to those who need it most.

The baskets were delivered in the Parkland Tuesday.
