Health Center Director Resigning

(Park HIlls, MO) The Director of the St. Francois County Health Center, Amber Elliot, is resigning after being in the job since January. Elliot says she has accepted a position somewhere else that is a better fit for her family. Elliot adds she and her family have been under scrutiny lately and the schools have been concerned for her children's safety

Elliot adds her last day is November 20th. According to Elliot the Health Center's Board of Directors is beginning the search for a new director but they have not named any candidates so far. Elliot was the Center's Director since January and had been the Assistant Director for three years prior to that.
