Helping Hands Group Helps Mental Health Center

Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - The Helping Hands group, at Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center, is a not-for-profit organization made up of Parkland community members.

The Educational Chair for the center, Walt Barron, says their mission is to educate people on mental health issues and heading into the holidays is a good time to focus on those who need help.

Barron adds if you're interested in donating your time, resources, or volunteering to assist, contact Christopher Bachman, the Director of Vocational Services, at Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center. The phone number is 573-218-6792.
