High Roadwork Costs Slow Construction

(Farmington, MO) The increasing cost of county road construction is playing a part in how much work can actually be done. St. Francois County Associate Commissioner, Kary Buckley, says with many back roads in need of widening, and costs going up, it's going to take more time to address the issue.

According to Buckley the Road and Bridge Crew for St. Francois County used to be involved in simply maintaining the county's roads however over time the group has moved towards doing more actual construction. Buckley adds a road widening project will be coming soon for St. Francois County's Feezor Road.
