Homestead Restaurant Bonne Terre Fire

(Bonne Terre, MO) The Homestead Restaurant at Bonne Terre is closed after a fire Tuesday night that produced minimal damage to the structure. Big River Bonne Terre Fire Chief, David Pratte, says they were paged out at 11:42 pm with a warning of flames coming through the roof yet upon arrival only smoke was coming out.

Pratte also says it's expected the owners will be able to rebuild the structure and reopen the restaurant. No injuries were reported as a result of the fire. Big River Bonne Terre firefighters were assisted by De Soto, Farmington, Park Hills, Desloge, and Leadwood firefighters.
