House Awaiting Court Date after Chase

(St. Francois County, MO) A Bonne Terre man, 34 year old David House Jr., is awaiting a new court date  on charges of resisting arrest by fleeing, and five misdemeanor charges including exceeding the posted speed limit and failure to stop at a stop sign after an alleged high speed chase March 17th. According to reports a Highway Patrol Trooper saw a pick up fail to come to a complete stop at Highway 8 and Old Highway 8. The Trooper activated his lights and attempted to pull the truck over. Reports show the truck reached speeds of over 80 miles an hour as the truck fled to Highway 32 West and then to Loughboro Road where House eventually pulled over. He was taken into custody and transported to the St. Francois County Jail. House is out on bond yet has a probation violation hearing scheduled in St. Francois County Court Thursday. House has a lengthy criminal record.
