House Total Loss in DeSoto Fire

(DeSoto, MO) A house in DeSoto is a total loss after a fire early Monday morning. According to a post on the DeSoto Rural Fire Protection District Facebook Page, crews were dispatched at 4:49am, and the house was already fully engulfed in flames. All family members safely evacuated the home, however the family lost their pets in the fire. Hillsboro, Hematite, Jefferson R-7, Big River Bonne Terre, and Festus departments, and Valle Ambulance District assisted DeSoto Rural Fire Protection District crews.
