Human Trafficking Discussed at Luncheon

(Farmington, MO) The mission to stop Human Trafficking in the Parkland is an ongoing effort and it was discussed at Thursday's Farmington Regional Chamber of Commerce business luncheon. The Executive Director of CASA of the Parkland, JoAnna Watts, was the featured speaker and she told those in attendance there are two components that make up human trafficking.

Watts also said human traffickers are many times people the victim knows. Farmington Regional Chamber members were also given information on Parkland Health Center's new weight loss program called Ideal Protein.
