Injuries in Iron County Wreck

(Iron County, MO) Two people are suffering injuries after a car struck a diesel truck head on in Iron County early Thursday morning at 5:45. According to Highway Patrol reports 25 year old Mark Cooper, of Belgrade, was driving west on Highway 32, 4 miles west of Bixby, when his vehicle crossed over the centerline and crashed head on into a diesel truck driven east by 58 year old Gary L. Glastetter, of Oran. The diesel ran off the road after colliding with the car and then caught fire. Cooper was seriously injured while Glastetter received moderate injuries. They were both taken to Salem Memorial District Hospital. Glastetter was wearing a seat belt at the time but it's unclear if Cooper was wearing his. Both vehicles were totaled.
