Iron County Thanksgiving Day Accident

(Iron County, MO) A 17 year old male juvenile from Des Arc is recovering form moderate injuries after he was involved in a one car wreck in Iron County last Thursday afternoon just before 2:30. Troopers with the Highway Patrol say The car was being driven south on Highway 49 by the teen, a quarter of a mile north of Des Arc, when it ran off the right side of the road and smashed into a tree. The 17 year old driver, and his passenger 18 year old Kailey R. Warncke, of Imperial, who received minor injuries, were both wearing seat belts when the wreck occurred. They were transported to Iron County Medical Center at Pilot Knob.
