Iron County Vehicle Pursuit

(Iron County, MO) A press release is still to come from the Iron County Sheriff's Department in r4egards to a high speed pursuit involving Iron County deputies Wednesday night. Information from the Iron County Sheriff's office Facebook page indicates the chase began in the Belleview area and lasted approximately 30 minutes reaching speeds of over 100 miles an hour. The vehicle stopped near Lake Kilarney and two people were taken into custody after they tried to flee on foot. At last word the investigation is still ongoing and a more details should be released soon. The department's Detective Chris Barton says during the course of the chase, there were some possible victims who may have been involved.
