Jefferson County Crash Tuesday Morning

(Jefferson County, MO) Two people from Farmington and another person from Desloge are suffering moderate injuries after they were involved in a traffic crash in Jefferson County Tuesday morning just before 11 o'clock. Highway Patrol reports show an SUV, driven by 63 year old Sonja L. Camden, of Farmington, had been involved in a previous crash. Camden's vehicle was stationary in lane 2 of the southbound lanes of Interstate 55, just south of mile marker 187. A car driven by 28 year old Levi A. Reynolds, of Farmington, was headed south in the same lane. Reynolds failed to notice Camden's vehicle in the road and the two collided. Camden and a passenger in her vehicle, 88 year old Melba D. Dischbein of Desloge, as well as Reynolds, were taken to Mercy Hospital South at St. Louis. The three were wearing their seat belts during the accident.
