Jefferson County Serious Injury Wreck

(Jefferson County, MO) A woman from Bismarck, 25 year old Shyann Gerren, is seriously injured after a two vehicle wreck in Jefferson County Wednesday morning just after 8:30. Highway Patrol crash reports state Gerren was traveling northbound in the left lane on Highway 67 as she approached Montauk Drive. A car, driven by 72 year old Harold Hoffman from Sparta, was headed west on Montauk Drive and attempted to cross the Highway and merge onto Highway 67 south. The cars collided as Hoffman's vehicle pulled into the path of Gerren's car. Gerren was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the wreck. She was taken to Mercy Hospital South. Hoffman was not injured.
