Knowing the SCORE Helping Small Business

(Farmington, MO) The St. Louis SCORE group is a small business mentoring and education service for Missouri and Illinois. A representative of SCORE, Richard Toman, was the guest speaker for Thursday's monthly Farmington Regional Chamber of Commerce meeting. Toman told the group they're creating a partnership with the Farmington Chamber to better assist the area and they're looking for other business leaders to become mentors in the Parkland.

In keeping with tradition during the chamber meeting, two cakes from the Help the Hungry Bake Sale were auctioned to cap off the fundraising event. One cake sold for $400 while the second went for $300.
