Lawmakers Fail on Line Item Overrides

(Jefferson City, MO) Missouri Legislators did not override any of Governor Mike Parson's line item vetoes during Wednesday's annual veto session. The State Representative for the 117th District, Mike Henderson, says house members approved overriding the Governor's line item vetoes however the effort failed since Senate members did not.

The new fiscal budget comes in at a little over $50 billion dollars.
