Leadwood Vacant House Fire

(Leadwood, MO) No injuries are being reported after a residential fire in Leadwood Wednesday night. Information from the Leadwood Fire Department's Facebook page indicates the call came in at 2:16 am as a vacant house in town heavily involved with fire. Two engines and several firefighters from the Leadwood Department were on the scene within a few minutes. The fire was knocked down quickly, and under control by 2:36 am, when clean up began. The home suffered significant damage. Leadwood firemen received assistance from the Desloge, Park Hills, Big River, Bismarck, Irondale , and Potosi Fire Departments.
