Light Gyro Aircraft Crash

(Mineral Point, MO) A small Gyrocopter rotary style aircraft crash in Washington County is being investigated by the Federal Aviation Administration after the incident took place Tuesday. The aircraft was being flown by a local pilot who, along with his passenger, received minor injuries during the wreck. Reports show the engine of the aircraft stopped working as landing procedures were underway after a routine flight. The aircraft is housed at the airport at Potosi.
