Madison County Escaped Prisoner Captured

(Fredericktown, MO) A man who escaped the Madison County Jail, 38 year old Christopher Shawn Thomas, has been located. A press release from Madison County Sheriff, Katy McCutheon, was posted on the Madison County 911 Facebook page concerning his escape. It's alleged Thomas escaped from the jail around 12:15 Wednesday afternoon by sliding under a partially open garage door of the jail as he was smoking with other prisoners. It is not clear how or where he was apprehended.
