Man Found Guilty of Hitting Motorcyclist

(St. Francois County, MO) A Park Hills man, 45 year old Brett D. Largent, will have a formal sentencing hearing in October. Largent was found guilty Tuesday in St. Francois County Court of using his pick up to strike a motorcyclist in May of last year on Highway 8 in St. Francois County. The motorcycle ran off the road crashing into several objects. The rider was seriously injured and underwent multiple surgeries. Largent was convicted of first degree assault with serious physical injury and armed criminal action.
