Monday Crash in St. Francois County

(St. Francois County, MO) A 31 year old female from Bonne Terre, Amanda M. Smith, and a 39 year old man from Bonne Terre, Anthony Alexander, are suffering injuries after a two car crash in St. Francois County that occurred Monday at 5:12 pm. Reports from the Highway Patrol show Alexander had pulled the car he was driving off Highway 67, at Cash Lane, onto the right hand shoulder of the road. He then attempted to make a left turn onto Cash Lane pulling into the path of a car driven north on Highway 67 by 24 year old Cameron L. Kettler of De Soto and the two vehicles collided. Alexander was seriously injured and was taken to Parkland Health Center at Bonne Terre. Smith, a passenger in Alexander's car, was moderately injured and was taken to Mercy Hospital Jefferson. Kettler received minor injuries. He was taken to Mercy Hospital South at St. Louis. Everyone involved in the wreck was wearing their seat belt when the accident took place.
