Motorcycle Involved in Hit and Run

(Washington County, MO) A St. Louis man, 25 year old Oigimer Torres Velasquez. is recovering from moderate injuries he sustained in a two vehicle accident Sunday in Washington county. According to reports from the Highway Patrol, Velasquez was riding his motorcycle west, on Route P, east of Rosary Drive a few minutes after 12 noon, when he failed to negotiate a curve to the right. The bike crossed over the centerline striking an unknown vehicle, that was headed east, before it ran off the south side of the road and rolled over throwing Velasquez. off. The unknown vehicle left the scene of the accident and Velasquez. was taken to Washington County Memorial Hospital.
