Officer-Involved Shooting May Have Arkansas Connection

Jefferson Co., Mo. (KFMO) - The investigation into Sunday's officer-involved shooting and homicide is taking law enforcement officials to Arkansas.

According to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, detectives are on the ground now and are working with the FBI and other agencies in Arkansas due to jurisdictional boundaries. The incident took place late Sunday morning in Festus and Crystal City. While the suspect has not been identified at this time, the truck he was driving has Arkansas license plates. The identity of the victim inside the truck has not been released either.
