Park Hills Leadington Chamber of Commerce Holds Meet the Candidates Forum

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - The Park Hills Leadington Chamber of Commerce hosted a Meet the Candidates Forum Thursday evening, giving residents a chance to hear directly from individuals running for positions in city government.

The forum featured a structured Q&A format with questions selected by the Chamber’s Board of Directors. Each candidate was given a set amount of time to respond, helping voters better understand where each person stands on key local issues.

Candidates running for mayor include incumbent Stacey Easter, David Easter, and Daniel Naucke. In the Ward 1 race, incumbent Alan Coleman and challenger Alessa Fenris. For Ward 2, Spring Gray is the sole candidate. In Ward 3, incumbent Cindi Penberthy and Tom Abel, while Ward 4 is incumbent Donna Dettmer and Druscilla Nick.

Chamber Executive Director Tami Coleman says events like this are essential for community engagement and transparency.

The municipal election takes place Tuesday, April 8.
