Perry County Wreck Injures 2

(Perry County, MO) A man from Perryville, 21 year old Blake M. Shinabarger, and a teen from Jackson, 18 year old Marley K. Lowes, are both recovering from injuries after the car they were in ran off Highway T in Perry County Sunday morning at 9 o'clock. According to Highway Patrol reports Lowes was driving west on Route T, west of Woodridge Lane, a private road, when he lost control of the car and it ran off the right side of the road. Lowes overcorrected and the car came back over the centerline. It ran off the left side of the road and crashing into a sign and a tree. Shinabarger, who was a passenger in Lowe's car, was seriously injured. He was flown to Mercy Hospital, St. Louis. Lowes received moderate injuries and was flown to SSM Health St. Louis University Hospital. A second passenger of Lowes', a 17 year old female juvenile, received minor injuries. Shinabarger was the only person in the wreck who was not wearing a seat belt.
