Perryville Man Injured in Crash on US 61

Perry Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A Perryville man sustained moderate injuries in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday morning on US 61 northbound, just north of Perry County Road 411.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 10:25 a.m. when a 2015 Chevrolet Cruze, driven by the 32-year-old man, traveled off the right side of the roadway. The vehicle struck the rear of a parked vehicle, hit a ditch embankment, became airborne, and overturned.

The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, suffered moderate injuries and was transported to St. Francis Medical Center by ambulance. The vehicle was totaled in the accident.
