Potosi High School Investigating Bathroom Stall Threat

(Potosi, MO) An investigation is underway at Potosi High School, after a threat was found Tuesday afternoon in a bathroom stall.

According to a letter sent home to parents from Potosi High School Principal Jeff Gibson Jr., the threat was discovered at the end of the day Tuesday, written on a bathroom stall.

Gibson said that the safety and well-being of the students is their top priority, and they are taking this matter very seriously. School administration and local law enforcement are actively investigating the situation to determine the credibility of the threat.

To ensure the safety of all students and staff, the district has implemented additional security measures as a precautionary measure.
