Potosi Man in Jefferson County Wreck

(Jefferson County, MO) A man from  Potosi, 33 year old Caleb G. Minter, is recovering from moderate injuries after being involved in a one vehicle wreck in Jefferson County Thursday morning just before 6 o'clock. Highway Patrol reports show Minter was driving a pick up north on Highway 21, north of Brotton Road, when he lost control of the vehicle in a curve and it began to slide off the left side of the highway. The truck crashed into a culvert, Minter overcorrected, and the truck ran off the right side of the road and smashed into a tree. Minter, who was wearing a seat belt when the crash occurred, was transported to Mercy Hospital South at St. Louis.
