Potosi Schools Operation CARE Issue in April

Potosi, Mo. (KFMO) - Potosi school board members are in the process of placing a no tax increase bond issue, called Proposition CARE, on the April 2025 ballot.

Superintendent of the Potosi School District, Alex McCaul, explains if approved by voters, the issue would provide funding for a performing arts center, new band uniforms, and more.

The ballot language for the initiative was approved at the last board meeting. McCaul adds since the issue is about improving the community Proposition CARE stands for Community Action Reinvesting in Education.
