Preliminary Hearing on Molestation Charges

(St. Francois County, MO) A man from Farmington, 42 year old Marcus T. Watkins, will have a preliminary hearing in St. Francois County Circuit Court Tuesday, November 9th, on 5 felony counts of child molestation in the 1st degree, 1 felony count of sodomy, and 6 felony counts of child molestation in the 3rd degree. Reports indicate Watkins is accused of sexually abusing two girls who were 12 years old at the time of the incidents. It's alleged the events took place from early 2017 to as late as this year. Watkins is being held in the St. Francois County Jail without bond.
