Railroad Crossing Closures

(Perry County, MO) BNSF Railway is closing its railroad crossings on State Routes C, E, M, and H in Perry County to perform routine maintenance on the railroad tracks at each of those crossings.  BNSF began the work Tuesday including maintenance at the Route C crossing first, then crews move to the Route E crossing, then Route M crossing, and they'll finish with the Route H crossing. While maintenance is being performed at a crossing, the road will be closed to the public in both directions for up to six hours. This rail maintenance work is weather dependent. Signs are posted alerting drivers to the closures. You're reminded to slow down and pay attention in these areas.
