Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - The former glass factory in Park Hills is the new home for the ReWorld company, a group that handles recoverable materials.
The Director of Environmental Health and Safety for ReWorld, Dom Venezia, says they are a material processing facility that would not handle any hazardous material that would cause harm to the community, or ReWorld's employees, yet they would process recovered materials.
According to Venezia, ReWrold provides the opportunity for the materials they work with to be recycled and not wind up in a landfill. The company is also set to give tours of the facility for those interested in the company and it's mission of sustainability for used materials.
Veneiza was a recent guest during the Park Hills City Government Report heard monthly on AM 1240, KFMO.
