Seven Traffic Fatalities Over Memorial Day Weekend

Jefferson City, Mo. (KFMO) - Missouri State Highway Patrol officials are reporting seven people died in traffic crashes over the 2024 Memorial Day weekend counting period of 6 p.m., Friday, May 24, through 11:59 p.m., Monday, May 27, 2024.

Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers investigated 275 crashes, 161 injuries and 128 DWI's. They also investigated 7 boating crashes, 7 boating injuries and 6 BWI's.

Statewide over the 2023 Memorial Day holiday weekend, 13 people died.
