Shelter Funding Discussed at Chamber Meeting

(Leadington, MO) Members of the Park Hills Leadington Chamber of Commerce are aware of a renewed need for additonal funding for the Uplift Shelter in Farmington After Tuesday's Chamber Investor luncheon. The Community Services Program Director, for the East Missouri Action Agency, Nicolle Hahn, says the shelter is serving a big need in the Parkland and the grant funding for it's services ends this month and more monies are needed.

Also at the meeting of the Park Hills Leadington Chamber a presentation regarding the CASA of the Parkland group was given at the meeting by Executive Director JoAnna Watts. The Downtown Scarecrow Contest for October, and Trunk N Treat event October 31st, were also announced.
