Skimming Device Found in Gas Pump

(Farmington, MO) Farmington Police are alerting members of the public in regards to a skimming device inside a gas pump at the Casey's General Store located at 84 South Henry Street. On Monday officers with the department received a report of two bluetooth skimming devices being located. A post on the Farmington Police Department's Facebook page suggests if you have used the Casey’s General Store located at 84 South Henry Street to purchase gas from the pump in recent weeks, please review your bank statements for any fraudulent activity.  If fraudulent activity is located notify your financial institution and your local police agency.  For information or further assistance contact the Farmington Police Department at 573-431-3131. No additional “skimmers” have been located within the city. Casey’s has added additional anti tampering security features and monitoring to each of their pumps, so there isn’t a concern of further accounts being compromised.
